Troubleshooting : If the valve fails to open, check the no load volatage of the thermopile. Use a multimeter to measure the thermopile voltage when there is no flame to see if it is insufficient. Check if the thermostat is short-circuited. Remove the thermostat, reconnect the circuit, and check if it works normally. Check if the nozzle is clogged. Oil contamination blocking the nozzle hole may cause insufficient gas flow, leading to a reduced flame and thus insufficient voltage to open the valve. Therefore, you need to clean the nozzle regularly.

If the main valve, cannot be open, you can test the pilot directly by multimeter and test if volatage over 300mV, normally the gas valve only need around 200mV to get open, if not open you need carefully check your connection with thermostat and high limit get circuit issue and try again.
