Woods & Partners are recruiting for a tax trainee position. We are looking to hire a 2021 graduate, looking to focus on taxation. The successful candidate will join our busy tax department and will work on a wide range of tax assignments across all business sectors.

With over 30 professionals now working across Audit, Tax and Business Consultancy, the firm is seeking to recruit Graduates to train as Chartered Accountants. We are also seeking to recruit Part Qualified Accountants and Audit Senior as part of the firms continued drive and growth.

The role will include:
- Hands-on training in busy Audit and Accounts Department;
- Variety of clients in sectors including media, engineering, charity, aviation, construction and healthcare;
- Training in small PODs of 4 staff per POD, so providing an intimate training environment;
- Access to accounts preparation work;
- VAT and Payroll experience exposure;
- Option of working from home for part of week;
- Regular 6 monthly training progress updates and annual formal appraisal and assessment programme;
- Training in all digital audit and accounts production programmes, statutory reporting and company secretarial;
- Exposure to preparing draft Corporation Tax Computations for corporate clients
